I am Capt. Mike Crawford, a Hawaii sport fishing veteran of nearly 35 years now (that's me on the right, when I still had hair on my head and very little on my chest).
Over the years, I've fought hundreds of marlin, mahimahi, ono and other Hawaii game fish. I owned my own fishing business for 7 years (Rhythm & Blues Sportfishing) out of Maalaea Harbor but gave that up when my son was born in lieu of the more rewarding job as "Mr. Mom". ....guess what... I decided that being a domestic engineer is harder than landing a 500lb. blue marlin.
To make a long story short, I'm retired now at the age of 57, but continue to live the fisherman's life vicariously through this web site and the fish stories of my fellow captains. And every once in a while I still get out and go fishing (when my wife allows it).
