The HO'OKELA is a meticulously maintained 35' Hatteras sportfisher out of Lahaina harbor.
Owner/Operator Kim Miyaki was born and raised in Lahaina and has over 25 years experience fishing Maui waters. Kim has teamed up with co-captain Denny Putnam who has over 30 years experience.
In addition to using standard trolling techniques, their specialties include light tackle, downrigger, and fly-fishing. These options are available for private charters only. If you're interested using lighter tackle or fly fishing please let us know ahead of time. The Hookela will need to be outfitted appropriately for the day of your fishing charter.
Ho'okela Fishing Charters offers a 50% discount* for riders (non-fishermen).
